Virtual Training Support

VIRTUAL TRAINING

Train your dog at home-with a coach in your pocket

When boarding isn’t the right fit (or timing), you don’t have to go it alone. This is for owners who want to self-train with clear guidance, honest feedback, and simple next steps—so you can build real skills without guesswork.

WHY IT EXISTS

Clarity over confusion

Most owners don’t need more noise—they need a plan, a coach, and accountability. Virtual Training Support gives you the exact communication systems we use in our Stay & Learn programs, adapted for home life and your dog.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Build calm first (before fancy obedience)
  • Use tools fairly and confidently
  • Work thresholds, leash skills, recall and duration
  • Prevent backslides and handle setbacks without spiralling

HOW IT WORKS

The Process

  1. Join: Start your month and open your WhatsApp thread
  2. Assess: Share a quick form + 2–3 short videos of current behaviour
  3. Plan: Get your week-one targets and daily micro-reps
  4. Implement: Train at home, send clips/questions, get coaching
  5. Progress: Each week we level up with clear criteria

THE CORE SKILLS WE’LL BUILD

  • The Art of Doing Nothing (SOTD): nervous system first, training second
  • Leash skills: pressure/release, changes of direction, neutrality around triggers
  • Threshold manners: doors, cars, crates—calm in, calm out
  • Place & duration: impulse control that actually holds up in real life
  • Recall foundations: long-line reps, proofing, and handler value
  • House rules: structure, schedule, play, tools, and realistic boundaries

WHAT THIS ISN’T

  1. Not a 24/7 hotline (it’s high-touch, not unlimited)
  2. Not a board-and-train replacement for severe cases, nor do we handle resource guarding, aggression or separation anxiety in this container.
  3. Not theory-only—you’ll be training daily in small, doable reps

SUPPORT BOUNDARIES (SO YOU GET QUALITY, NOT CHAOS)

  • WhatsApp hours: Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm (ACDT)
  • Typical response time: within 24 business hours
  • Weekend messages welcome; replies roll to Monday unless urgent welfare

How many videos can I send?

Short, focused clips (30–90s) work best. Aim for 2–4 per week so we can coach precisely.

Do I need tools?

We’ll guide you on fair, effective use based on your dog and goals. If you don’t have gear, we’ll recommend a starter setup and if we have it in stock here, we can send it to you via express post. This is an additional charge to the program.

Can I pause or cancel?

Yes—this is month-to-month. Cancel anytime before your next billing date. Unfortunately we do not pause packages.

Will this fix reactivity?

It builds the foundations that make reactivity trainable: state of mind, leash language, distance, and reps. Many dogs improve significantly with consistent work.

What if it doesn't work?

Progress in this program depends on you putting in the daily reps and following the feedback consistently.
I’ll guide you every step of the way, but this isn’t a quick fix or a magic formula — it’s coaching and accountability to help you build lasting change. If you show up, apply the feedback, and stay consistent, you will see results.

Do you use prong collars or other training tools?

Yes — we’re strong advocates for the fair, educated use of prong collars as part of a balanced training approach.

These tools aren’t about punishment — they’re about creating clear communication between you and your dog when used correctly. If a prong collar (or any other tool) is recommended during your program, you always have the right to decline its use.

However, it’s important to know upfront that we train using balanced methods — structure, accountability, and clear feedback alongside praise, play, and reward.
